How I Built My Career On Instagram

As a writer, I have spent most of my adult life struggling to get my writing read and appreciated.  Simply getting your foot in the door with publishers is something that can be extremely difficult to do, and so I found myself self-publishing on blogs.  Of course, just because you have a blog, this does not mean that people will read what you right.  I knew right away that it was going to be important for me to get Instagram followers in order to push my writing out there and try to get it noticed.

It is always an uphill struggle, and no matter how hard you work and how good your content is, you might still have a hard time getting it noticed.  Because of this, the challenge is always to get Instagram followers so that there will be people who are looking for your next blog post the moment you put it up.  So, how did I go about getting as many followers as I have right now?  Well, there were a number of ways.  First, I looked into different marketing companies that would promote my blog and Instagram profile for me.  I figured I could use all the help that I could get, and this was definitely a worthwhile investment.

Next, I made sure that I was active on Instagram regularly, and that I was always making sure to post new blogs on a regular basis.  Engaging with your readers is one of the most important things that you can do in order to keep them interested.  In this world of instant gratification, many people will forget about you if you are not constantly reminding them that you are there.  Thankfully, by successfully promoting my blog and my Instagram through a third party while also making sure to stay active and keep posting updates, I was eventually able to gain the following that I needed in order to get the attention that my writing deserved.

I have now received offers from a few different publishers, and I have had certain websites post my articles and blogs on their sites.  When the flood gates open, it all seems to come together, and success seems inevitable.  However, none of this happened overnight, and it took me a lot of hard work and promotion of myself in order to finally get my writing out there.

I am now a published author who gets paid for everything that he writes.  Writing is my dream job, and I was recently able to quit my day job to write full time.  At this point, I have accomplished my major goal, but the fact is that the sky is the limit from here.  Who knows?  Maybe one of these days I will be able to publish a best seller and get to a position I never even dreamed of.  Either way, it all started with a blog and a social media account, followed by hard work and dedication.
