Construction of Swing Set Facility in Progress
Clif Knight, Hartselle Enquirer The long-awaited construction of the Special Needs Accessible Playground (SNAP) of Morgan County has begun in Hartselle's Sparkman Park.
A concrete finishing crew put down a permanent 2,000 square foot pad for a special needs swing set last week. The pad is located at the southeast corner of the civic center and will serve as the foundation for a smooth, colorful rubberized finish surface on which the swing set will be installed.
The Dawson Company is the general contractor for the project, which is expected to be completed by May 1, 2008.
